JETRO to present 19 innovative Japanese startups at Disrupt 2021

SAN FRANCISCO – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – JETRO San Francisco coordinates the Japan Innovation Pavilion at this year’s Disrupt conference hosted by TechCrunch. The conference will be held online due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Disrupt 2021 will feature more than 1,000 early-stage startups and sponsors from across technology industries as they showcase their latest technology products, platforms and services.

For Disruption 2021, JETRO will host 19 innovative Japanese startups from September 21 to 23. On September 23 at 1:00 p.m. PST, 10 of these startups will also be participating in a special pitch event, where they will openly talk about their products to attendees. This year’s exhibitors come from various industries such as wellness, entertainment, fitness, health technology and sustainability. Japan is known for its cutting-edge technology and unique problem-solving methods, and these 19 companies are a case in point. Exhibitors include:

AC Biode is developing organic toilets – no water, no infrastructure, using normal wood chips / sawdust. Use cases include islands, remote areas, ships, campgrounds, during natural disasters, and more.

Cardio Flow Design Inc.

Cardio Flow Design develops techniques for analyzing blood flow. The aim of the analysis is to aid in the diagnosis, treatment and planning of surgery for cardiovascular diseases. Their technologies are 4D Flow MRI software, computational fluid dynamics and echocardiography analysis software.
