PRESS RELEASE

June 15e2022, New York State Troopers arrested 42-year-old Rocco Delmonte of Fredonia on two counts of criminal mischief 4e Diploma and Harassment 2n/a Diploma.

June 8e, 2022, the Troopers received a complaint of criminal mischief stemming from a road rage incident. The Complainant reported that while he was driving on Route 60, a Jeep, later determined to be driven by Delmonte, passed him in a no-go area and an object was thrown on the complainant’s vehicle. When the two vehicles stopped, Delmonte got out of the Jeep, kicked the Complainant’s vehicle, causing damage, and began punching the passenger, who was still seated in the vehicle. Delmonte then left. June 9e, Troopers responded to a residence in Fredonia regarding a complaint of criminal mischief. The plaintiff provided a video of Delmonte puncturing her tire and a voicemail indicating that the other tires will be next, as well as damage to her residence. Attempts to locate Delmonte for both incidents had failed and warrants were obtained. Delmonte was arrested at a residence in Dunkirk, treated at SP Fredonia, and transported to Chautauqua County Jail.
